Max Montalban is a Mexican photographer and as such he finds himself very much on the outside of "the industry"; it's a place where he is afforded the space for rawness and provocation. His work is free of the shallow veneer of so much contemporary photography.

I highly recommend you follow him and get an idea of what it is like on the outside (it's pretty fucking interesting).
